I did it! I made it through day one. The students were great and very interested in learning about bones and muscles and movement and all the fun stuff you get to learn in a Musculoskeletal class. I actually enjoyed myself and I am looking forward to next weeks class.
I knew I would enjoy teaching but as it got closer and closer I was beginning to wonder what I had gotten myself into. I was stressed about the unknowns and wondered if I would end up with an hour left in class and nothing to talk about. Silly really, there is always something we can talk about or study in this class. Sometimes stress and anxiety can lead us to irrational thought patterns!
All in all I am excited for this opportunity to learn new skills and to work with some bright and passionate massage therapists in the making!
